Well Done To Adrian Cornwall

I would just like to congtaulate Adrian Cornwall and Joseph Cullen on their wonderful achievements at the Special Olympics world games in Athens. Adrian won Gold,Silver and Bronze in Badminton and Joseph won gold in swimming. A great night was had here at the club last Tuesday in celebration of the achievements of Adrian and Joseph. However it would not have been possible were it not for the work carried out in the background by many many people, i would like to highlight Joe and Sally in the kitchen, our barman Michael, Roison, Francie and John, PJ, Gerry, Mary and all the volunteers and a special word of thanks to the wonderful Kay and Francie who put so much time and effort into not only the special Olympics but to so many other activities in the club too. I would like to pay tribute to Adrian and Joseph and all their special olympic friends who gave them great support and who in the process have brought joy to so many people. i would also like to pay tribute to all the volunteers who give freely of their time each Monday night to help train the athletes. And finally thank you to all those people who made a gaurd of honour, our piper and our Club president Eamonn McCafferty for helping to make it a special night- sincere apologies if i have missed out on thanking anyone.
